The two things I love most in life aside from my family, are jewellery and a well designed interior.  If I was lucky to have one as my career and one a hobby than life would be fabulous.  Deciding to become a goldsmith probably had a lot to do with filling my first wholesale order at the age of 17.  I always wanted to be an entrepreneur and run my own business but little did I know I would get the opportunity at such a young age and two decades later still be doing exactly that, designing and making jewellery.  As for my interior design career, well it has become my hobby.  I'm not sure it was the more economical choice but my own houses have sure given me a lot of practice if  Danielle O'Connor Home is ever born.  Today my studio feels the most at home in our one hundred year old house in the beautiful Avon Ward neighbourhood of Stratford Ontario.  Since graduating from the Georgian College’s Jewellery and Metals program with a post graduate study in goldsmithing I have been inspired by the natural beauty of coloured gem stones, the ability to form, fabricate and texture metal and to create meaningful pieces of art that can be worn everyday.  After two decades I am proud that each one of our pieces are Canadian handmade and more often one of a kind designs created for clients, our studio showroom and Galleries across Canada like the Art Gallery of Ontario.

Our jewellery studio is located in beautiful Stratford Ontario, home to the renowned Shakespearen Festival.  We are nestled on a quiet street in Avon Ward three blocks from downtown.  We relocated to Stratford in January of 2016 for it's rich culture, beautiful cityscapes and the culinary excellence the city had to offer.  Since 1997 Danielle O'Connor Jewellery has been a home studio open to the public by appointment only.  Here in our newly renovated Stratford studio we specialize in customs design.  Either redesigning already existing jewellery for clients into updated more modern pieces or creating entirely new pieces of jewellery.  Engagement rings, wedding bands, customs jewellery of all kinds and repairs.  We also design a line of sterling silver jewellery sold in the studio and in galleries across Canada.   Our jewellery is all handmade and mostly one of a kind with each piece having its own style and originality.  We are very proud of our Canadian handmade jewellery and we strive to make sure that each piece is made with care, quality and integrity.
